caraigFirst, woke up badly. I'm literally exhausted from these recurring dream images.
Second, saw Live Free or Die Hard today. It was pretty cool, definitely a spiritual successor to the first movie. Some of the compositing wasn't terribly good, and a lot of the computer tech made me wince. But overall it wasn't bad. It was fairly brainless action.
Third, saw a trailer for Lions for Lambs directed by and starring Robert Redford. I'm not sure if it's a polemic against the 'war on terrorism' or for it; either way, I think it might be an untoward 'escalation' in the war of ideas that's going on in this country.
Fourth, on the topic of politics, You all know by now what happened today. I am unsurprised but disappointed.
