Store Oddness and Other Melancholy

Lots of things going on this week, so let's start a few days ago.
I came to the realization that most of my dreams are rather bleak. Not bleak in the thematic sense, but pretty darn bereft of people -- if I'm not dreaming of the Hindu antarloka then there seems to be a rather miniscule "cast." And the dream-scape is always kind of... well, dark and empty. Not postapocalyptic dark-and-empty, or at least not quite, but very empty, and usually overcast or at night. I wonder what this might mean.
On the other hand, I continue to occasionally get story ideas from it, which I'm considering writing out once I get a writing mood and some free time to coincide.
Work continues apace. Tonight was oddball. We had some really strange customers tonight. Not bad customers, just... strange. Stranger than usual. I don't really know what I can say and what I shouldn't, so I'll leave it at that. And then I'm driving home after wondering if we had some sort of full moon going on, and there right in the sky is this huge, baleful, ruddy-orange moon. It wasn't just full, it was aggressively full.
Oh, yeah, I thought. That explains it. That explains so freakin' much.
Full moon is actually in about half an hour and change, but it's still close enough to count, I'm sure.
