Things That Make You Go... WTF?!

From the Because-I-Want-To-Share-The-Pain department...

So I watched Serenity earlier in the week, and have also been working on stuff for a game based on Firefly. And I was also browsing the net and seeing what (coincidentally, non-Firefly fanficy) things people were doing, and being alternately surprised, shocked, alarmed, intrigued, horrified, intrigued, curious, fascinated, and approving. And as I'm drifting off to sleep, random neurons fire, and the sudden image pops into my mind, of... wait for it... Mal/Jayne slash fic.

AUUUGH! MY CRANIAL EYES ARE BLEEDING! THE GOGGLES, THEY DO NOTHING! Whew. Now that my pain is yours, I can rest a little easier. ^_^

In other news I'm bracing myself for another 6 days at work starting tomorrow. It's kind of a hard schedule but there's no helping it -- we have four techs and one always seems to be out. Hell, I did that when I was away for training. So I can't complain. I just wish we had some extra help, you know? Anyway, more later. Pax!

I'm in a tabletop Serenity game right now with a really good Storyteller. That game is the most fun I've had since dancing naked virgins and crop-urination. I think the system is really well done, though the book seems to be organized in a rather confusing manner.

Hope you can get a game going because it's likely to be really worth the effort!
