caraigWell, only mildly stressed, but still, enough so.
Basically, my car has had some issues in the past, nothing major, really. Until now. I took the car in today and just talked with the mechanic about how much it'll cost to get the car going fine again. It's a transmission issue. Let me put it this way: he didn't even mention how much a new transmission will cost. The replacement is a rebuild/refresh/refurb. At least it'll have a warranty for a year or 12,000 miles.
I figure this is the last major shop work for the TIE Jeep. After this, if something major happens, well... we'll see. I should probably be looking for something a touch more fuel-efficient than it. For now I'll be keeping this thing going as long as I can. I'll ask the mechanic what I can do to keep it going well.
This isn't world-shattering, or even really bank-breaking, but it is a touch unpleasant. Another roadbump on the path to getting my life in order. Woe.
Right, then. Back to the training. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention...
As of today, I am officially full-time at $STORE. Glee! Now if only I had some way to celebrate besides some rather largish bills.
