A Good Time To Flee Town

caraigI am already cringing, imagining some of the people who are going to come into the store tomorrow just because they want someone from $COMPANY in front of them when they complain about $COMPANY releasing new computers a few months ago, and then the new computers with the faster cores today.
I can totally see it. You see, it doesn't matter that we didn't know beans about it before (and they know it.) It doesn't matter that we didn't set policy. The first things out of their mouths in the first minute of their rant will be, 'I know you don't set policy for the company, and I know you didn't know about it, but...' and they will then proceed to [attempt] to tear you down completely
You haven't gone through a holiday season with these people! They're nice and friendly one moment then turn around and turn into raging hellbeasts! They've got hearts of black ice and poison tongues and they thrive on causing despair! Fear them, for they are convinced that they are the center of the universe and can make you do what they want with their rage and anger! It's like it's an island full of preadolescent, wannabe-Sith!

I love working for $STORE, but the community we work in can totally use some selective nuking. Or at least classes in, I don't know, Basic 'You Are Not The Only Thinking Feeling Person In The World' 101.
