howardtayler. (And that's "meme" in the original sense, i.e. a word or concept or idea that spreads through culture virally.)
Apparently there's a re-telling of The Wizard of Oz. Dorothy is a 'Danger Girl' with a water gun. the Tin Woodsman is basically a warforged of Eberron. The Cowardly Lion is a mix of Finn MacCool and a Kzin. And Scarecrow is Jet Li, or Toshiro Mifune.
I am kidding you not. Here's the homepage. I take it that the story is amusing and fun if you don't take it too seriously. I'm not entirely sure what to think of the current trend in comics leading towards rather inconceivably busty female leads. Look, I like cheesecake, I'll admit it, and I want to see more stories with strong female leads. But haven't we all had more than enough of Tomb Raider knockoffs? The number of gravity-defying mammaries in comics is getting kind of ridiculous, isn't it? Anyway, here endeth the rant.
Anyway, today is my first day off, whew! Now just need to get some paperwork done and get some shopping done. Pax.
