Attempts At Comedy

Normally the holiday season gets me kinda down, this one more than usual, so I'm looking for things to liven my mod. Tonight I sketched up something for you-all's (hopefully) amusement. It's mostly an attempt at a study in anatomy and shading using pen and ink but it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted it to. Stioll, OI thought it was amusing enough to share. So. I call it "Stand And Deliver... Yes, You Down There." I'm pretty happy with the guy's expression -- a mix of having too much fun and inspired madness. I'm hoping that the subject matter is pretty clear, otherwise that'll be something else I need to work on. ^^ Cheers, enjoy, and pax.

*the pictures his legs slipping, his head coming up to hit the branch, rope breaking on one side, swinging him down a bit to slam into the trunk of the tree and then finally falling to the ground, all the while...the ones he was going to rob are trying not to laugh/fall off their horses*
