Now we have DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD±R, DVD±RW, DVD±RW-SL, and, for all I know, DVD±BBQ and DVD±OMZodKneelBeforeZod.)
It's choice, and I suppose it's good, but I fail to see the advantages of DVD-R over DVD+R over DVD±R. DVD±Stop DVD±The DVD±Madness!
