Happy Bloody New Year

So one of my best friends online has just gotten the one week notice from their father.

Commence Rant:

Okay, so how fucked up is this? I realize that some parents are eager to get their kids out there and working, but KICKING THEM OUT? That's insane. If it's an attempt to kickstart a person it fails badly.

Seethe.

Okay, so maybe I don't know the full story. But I know the person, and they do NOT deserve this crap. And what the HELL kind of thing is it to do it on New Year's? What a fucking way to start the bloody new year. I hope the person's father gets painfully and rectally introduced to something large; I'll leave further details to your various and sundry twisted imaginings.


Sigh.


It's been a while since I posted anything here but there's not much to say, really. Nothing new, even though it's been a few months since I last posted. I'll put in a more complete post here sometime soon

Happy new year's day to you, me brother. And... if getting kicked out for new year's sucks... imagine what it's like on your birthday... or on Christmas/Yule... or any other day. I think it sucks any time.

I had a similar situation, less irritating, more annoying. I dropped out of college because of it.
