Today I've started one of the last classes I'll be taking at Full Sail. (If you click on their link, be careful; there's more Flash animation than you can shake a hedgehog at.) Animation in 3D is a class that talks about taking real-world movement and interpreting in the digital medium. Sort of. Essentially, it seems to be talking about body language exaggeration and overlap, primary and secondary motion, and so on.
Of course, it's pretty daunting. This is the third-to-last class I take here, and starting next month I start animating for the demo reel. I'm suffused with a sort of low-level high-tension, though I imagine that everyone is at this point. So at least I'm not alone. But whomever said 'Misery loves company' had it all wrong. I'd rather not have the misery!
My schedule is a little oddball for the time being; I'll be having four hours between class and lab in which I do, well, nothing, other than catch up on things, or try to, that is.
Well; not bad for the first serious journal entry! Hope it remains at least as civil for the next few months or so! =)
