caraigThis is my thirty-fifth birthday. It has been over a decade since I set foot off of this continent. I have resolved that before my fortieth, I will do at least one overseas trip to someplace I've never been to before. I'm not sure where yet, but I'd like for it to be someplace with history to it. (Going to China and visiting Chi Bi has it's appeal, I admit.)
We may be getting evicted in the next 60 days. Well, not really evicted; the building we live in is being sold, and one of the escrow conditions is that the new owner occupy the building. The entire building. No tenants. So, we may have to move soon, earlier than we'd planned, but also we have some leads on some good places. The buyer's broker is going to move heaven and earth to look for a new place for us, too, since they all agree this is not a good situation.
We're hopefully going to see a movie with giant robots in it later today. Seriously, what can't be made better with giant robots?
Not much else going on. I'm hanging in there as best as I can. Still nothing on the job front. More later, I hope. Pax.
