Oddball Dreams
Apr. 8th, 2007 10:23 amUsually my dreams are oddball and not fit to be repeated, but this one tickled me.
The scene: A mid-19th Century US frontier city, with horses, woood buildings, Civil War-style clothing, the works. A Union soldier is standing in the center of the street, talking heatedly with a civilian.
US Messenger: This is madness!
Brigham Young: Madness? THIS! IS! UTAH!
Without knowing the exact number of the Nauvoo Legion during the time of Buchanan's Blunder, this movie will have to remain, alas, untitled. I also realise that the Mormons of the time called Utah 'Deseret.'
Respects and apologies to any Mormons in the audience. This is oddball wierdness that my brain does when I'm sleeping. Still, hope it brought a bit of a chuckle. =) Pax
