For those of you interested in tabletop/miniatures space combat, check out Voidstriker from Irrational Designs. The game is tight and well-written, and the guy who made it is a good guy, as well. =) I've followed Voidstriker's development for a while now and the system is good.
In other news, my schedule is a recipe for stress and I'm going to sleep now so... so that I can wake up again tomorrow. Bleh. We'll see what happens. Pax
Update: And since I'm already hawking sites that I have no relation to, have a gander at Alpha Shade for some excellent work in character design, compositon, worldcrafting, mechanical drawing, and interesting storytelling. A lot of it is still strange and confusing to me but it's intriguing enough for me to give it a chance to explain what's going on. And the trailer kicks butt, as well.

Date: 2006-04-28 05:27 pm (UTC)I love Alpha Shade's cinematic approach, but Their pacing is slow, and they don't resolve anything, they just do a few scenes, and then change venues, and worlds. Lovely to look at, but a bit frustrating, and this particular brand of "Amerimanga", makes everyone look like children.
