Too Much?

Is it perhaps a bit too much... having higher expectations than one would think... a little on the unreasonable side... to expect the gods-damned bank to TELL me when they put the account that I'm using to PAY THE GODDAMNED BILLS on HOLD? They've KNOWN that my father passed away some time ago. Yet NOW they decided 'Oh, let's put the account on hold and moreover apply $$$$ as a negative balance to that!. And they don't FEKKING TELL ME?! Is there a law that says they can't or something? It's not like my name isn't on the goddamned account as well. They could have CALLED. Oh, wait, stupid me, that would mean we actually MATTER to these arses. That we matter to any of them.

Why the HELL doesn't anyone take the bloody five seconds to call someone and tell them 'your account's been put on hold' or 'you didn't get the job' or 'your life's going to continue to suck.' The only time in the past six damn months when someone's actually called me to tell me something 'official' that I didn't have to find out for myself was when mom and dad died.

Hope companies are treating you better than this. And if they're not, they don't deserve to continue. Honestly, you can see why things like mad scientists bent on world domination happen. Sometimes I wonder if things wouldn't be better off with Blofeld in charge. At least if someone has a chronic case of disrespect you know they'll get dropped in the shark tank.

Yes, I'm whining. Yes, I'll stop now. Pax.

Have you called them to complain?

Yup. They told me I had to talk to the branch bank which caused this mess in the first place, but of course I find this out after the branch is closed, which means calling tomorrow.

Try going over in person. You can power-glare at them more easily.

I'm still working on getting Bank of America to reverse their "account adjustment" and a nice rep tried to reverse it today but of course the idiots haven't scanned in the fax I sent them (hello? ever hear of electronic machines that create PDFs immediately!?) so he couldn't do it. So I have to call back next week.

Grr.
