So of late I've been kind of blah. Unemployed, nothing to show, doing some webwork on the side but very little else, waking up late because there's nothing to wake up FOR.... Envy me not, for I am unwell besides, and am having a tendency to be snippish and irritable. It is incredibly easy of late to push my 'Do NOT F*** With Me!' button which has all sorts of unfortunate results.

However, a bright ray of amusement ha cast itself down in front of me. Before me I have the Museum Replicas Limited catalog. In this catalog, which has all sorts of ooh-shiny-pretty-sharpie! things in it, as well as enough clothing options for re-enactors to be at least mildly interested, there is a section for not-quite-historical things. These are usually weapons and jewelry crafted from movie and book licenses. Swords from The Lord of the Rings are a favorite of late. But this month they had something new.

They had tunics and helmets from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

Don't believe me? Well, then, check out the Tunic of King Arthur at their online store and become a believer!

The trouble is, they always get swamped around this time of year, so if you're thinking of going to a Halloween party at your local Castle Anthrax as Sir Galahad the Chaste you're out of luck; I doubt they have enough in stock, if they even HAVE any of them in stock.

Speaking of Halloween and Castle Anthrax, if anyone needs a designated driver for Halloween this year in the Greater New York City area and surrounding environs, (and I'm reasonably familiar with you! =) ) I am available for such duty, short of something coming up, of course. I don't drink, I don't smoke, I'm housebroken, my car is in good working order, and it can fit three others... four if you're hobbits. =)
