New Hampshire
Sep. 2nd, 2003 02:33 amSo I'm up in New Hampshire, visiting some friends. It's all right up here, they're both cool guys whom I've known for a long while. New Hampshire is pretty all in all, not a bad place to live. Myself... I'll live wherever the job is. I can't be picky.
We saw RKO 291 today, the HBO movie about the making of Citizen Kane. That was quite interesting. We started seeing part of The Rat Pack, and it made me want to see the original Ocean's 11. Which, incidentally, I saw on my way up from New York.
I know I was originally goign to be leaving here tomorrow, but we've gotten some work done on a shareware game that I'm doing models for and that could be very good for my demo reel. Plus, I'm doing some web graphics for bartering for my continuing web space/domain, so I'll be setting aside some time to do that. It won't be much of a vacation, but it shouldn't be, if I'm going to stay here. I've BEEN on vacation, and now I've got one month done of my six-months' grace period before Sally Mae starts asking for their money. Sigh.
I'm currently sitting on the sofa-turned-futon beside an 18-year-old purebreed cat (with all the issues that implies) named Bubba. I'm wondering if I should stay here for another four days. It's looking mighty tempting.
Anyway, more later. I'm tired here and I should get some sleep! I'll put in another entry later!
